Like we all now what happened with BaekYeon, and Kai and Jennie are hella popular too. 2. Didn't YGE have a rule against their idols dating? I'm seeing more non fans/haters making a fuss about it just to drag the idols. 2- Well there have been talks about the dating ban but no one knows if it's real or not... Even Kwangsoo and Sun Bin are creating more buzz. Fandoms are mostly ok with it, especially I-fans. C-exols are a bit mad because Jennies reputation has been bad since the lazy fancam scandal there, but nothing even remotely close Kaistal or Baekyeon. And a lot of C and K blinks are mad bc they feel like Jennie is being selfish and continuously bringing bad press to the group. No one really has any idea if the YG dating ban was contractual or not, but I think they're both gonna be fine. Maybe a little blow to their popularity, but nothing detrimental. Miyeon herself said she left YG because she was frustrated at the delay of their debut. We literally only have one photo of her and some random guy and people already assume they were dating and that's why she and YG parted ways? Jeez way to jump to conclusions. Akgaes and OT3s are MILKING it to act as if she's super selfish and has destroyed BP's entire career (I was worried about YG at first as well ruining things when general reaction is positive, but because it is positive there is no huge issue). But there's been heaps of evidence put out there to say it isn't contractually bound - i.e. BP members' statement on Party People saying they can date if they have permission from YG, Bobby stated there was no set time limit (which really proves it's probably just a general warning against dating), GD doesn't give a fuck and Dara apparently stated she was the only member not to date during the dating ban, which once again means that it's not contractual. Tbh, it's obvious dating no matter how much positive feedback received will still garner negative attention. YG knows Jennie's status in Korea and probably would've been hella mad that she's going to take a hit to her popularity, but the attention sieving off her is inevitable because another member needs to take the spotlight and have the solo debut. Things will hopefully even out and they will both be fine. And honestly, I don't want them to break up. The couple was random but when I thought it through I was seriously so happy. I think they're really good for each other and I don't want anxiety and negativity associated with being outed and scolded to dampen their relationship. I can’t believe they actually thought those couples were real! I’m so glad the reaction has mostly been positive though, as it should be. Idols should be allowed to publicly date, it’s a natural part of life. As you say, only antis seem to be trying to cause issues over this, both fandoms have been largely positive and are more annoyed about the invasion of privacy.
