It has like 5 games

...Where are you getting '5 games' from?0u0plz.png

The Switch has High Quality First Party Titles such as Zelda BOTW, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Splatoon 2, XenoBlade Chronicles 2, Kirby All Star Allies, Super Mario Party and Mario Tennis Aces, nsmbu Deluxe

Notable Third Party Exclusives such as Octopath Traveller, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

with remastered Ports such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Bayonetta 1 & 2 etc

and a whole dozen third party games that are available to play portably for the first time such as Stardew Valley, Celeste, Shovel Knight & Dead Cells

and the console isn't even a whole 2 years old, and 2019 already looking packed with highly anticipated Releases such as Animal Crossing, Pokemon Gen 8 & Luigi's Mansion 3.

TLDR: Get a Switch if you haven't yet, it's worth it

does anyone know by any chance if switch is region locked? i'm thinking about buying one in japan so i was wondering if i could change the language to english and buy my games in europe

it's not Region Locked

Are you enjoying Octopath Traveler? <3

I own every First Party Exclusive (skipped some of the ports such as Captain Toad as I owned them previously on the Wii U) but I'm a lifelong Nintendo fan and not the average consumer lol and I totally understand the Games can be really expensive, especially as they tend to add up in cost.

The Game I've invested the most hours in is Zelda: Breath of the Wild, followed by Splatoon 2. I'm embarrassed to mention how many Gameplay hours I've clocked in on Zelda because it's an obscene amount and I've also been playing Smash non-stop since it released so I assume that will become one of my most played games on the system lol.

maybe you think that, but clearly you're in the minority whereas the millions who purchased it and gave it lots of love by making it the fastest selling console of the current hardware generation can't relate.

I like it, I love RPG esp JRPG so it’s good for me. I’d say wait for the price to drop to buy it tho, I think it’s kind of expensive at the original price.

I’m thinking of getting smash next, then maybe Zelda?? I never played Mario or Zelda before so I don’t know if it’s hard to play. Smash I played at friends place before so I know the drill lol.

I have one first few months it was out and regert it to be fair. There's just not enough games for me to be like "Oooh I need to buy and play" . I'm currently only playing xenoblades 2 (playing the dlc) and I have Octopath Traveler, Mario rabbids (recently) and World ends with you final remix to play. I got Tales of Vesperia on preorder, the switch version but I just wish there were more games. I see so many people saying it's good but games like smash bros, botw and Mario kart aren't for me. Would really like nintendo to step up their game and give us more story base or character driven video games. Fire emblem, Shin Megami Tensei, Bayonetta 3? Those three I know are confirmed but waiting for them is making me :(

the visuals and soundtrack of Octopath is so stunning and the stories of each character is so compelling, I also dig the gameplay lots. I really love the innovation in the game <3 I lost faith in SE for a while but it's coming back thanks to Octopath and Bravely Default.

Smash is so enjoyable, especially with friends and family! Zelda is more of a single player experience but the game is an absolute masterpiece, it's like an open world playground, it's not linear at all, the story is great but the main focus of the game is based on exploration, I've played for hours and hours and just get lost in the world. It's very different to traditional Zelda so even people who haven't followed the series can easily jump in :)

Mate. You're reaching for the stars and you know it.

How are you going to stand there and act like the Switch isn't setting the world on fire, not

only by how popular it is, but how much acclaim it's first party games are getting? The way

that the system has reignited people's passion for gaming is something that no other console

has been able to achieve at all in the last few years, but you pop off in your own little world

where the Switch only has ''4 notable games to play'' I suppose sis.
