And the cherry on top is they're beautiful. So now I totally get why the seemingly stupid and obvious "yeoja aideul" is an apt name for them. Wordplay of young women, which can also be heard as female idols. As someone whose ultimate bias group is from the 2nd gen, and have incredible stage presence, I don't see how G IDLE don't match up. They're one of the few girl groups I think that do. Hence, reinventing. It's simply a hyperbole. Which internet speak prefers, and I like using in a sarcastic way.
