Did you ever come across a teacher's pet in any of your classes?

I surprisingly haven't. We've had students who enjoy being

close with the teachers not in a creepy way but just

cos they're dedicated but never had any that sucked

up to the teachers.

Looking back, I wish I was a bit of a teacher's pet. At least during end of HS and through college. Recommendations from teachers/prof would def help

we had a maths teacher who chose her favourite students for EXTRA tutoring even though the top of the class were evidently not struggling as much as the bottom of the class so it was VERY UNFAIR i was not very happy considering I'd scraping a C all year round and I knew for a fact that multiple of her class HAD failed. I see u Vicky. :///

Their parents would shove the teachers full of gifts and they would do whatever they wanted to.

I used to be a teacher's pet in the middle school but that's mostly "thanks to" my class which consisted of nasty and lazy bullies who would rather skip classes and pretend to be adults in the age of 14-15. That's why our lessons weren't that demanding, so teachers wouldn't have to explain things x number of times to these brats. It wasn't difficult to be the pet if you at least did your homework and stayed calm/quiet.

 

Although I encountered some as well, in high school. My class was like 50% teacher's pets and 50% quiet people who didn't bother to do anything more than studying the needed things. At least when it came to our homeroom teacher.
