Do you let nostalgia cloud your judgement on things?

As a 90s kid who believed that we experienced the best movies, TV shows,

music and games back then, I'm gonna admit that I do.

I'm the kid who would say stuff like Gen 1 & 2 Pokemon is the best.

Disney movies back then are better than the ones now.

Or

I prefer 90s music or 2nd gen K-POP over

3rd gen. So yes. Nostalgia does cloud my judgement

to a certain extent.

But that being said, I do like the current stuff but I'm totally old school when it comes

to preference.

Yes, i have made the 90's such a magical time in my head.

But in reality slap bands were banned at school before we got to slap anybody, our tamogotchi's all died, our hypercolour tshirts stopped working after a couple of washes and our blow up furniture stuck to our legs and really hurt.

Sometimes, but I make an effort to take things at face value and stop basing my preference on how long they've been around. Like with Pokemon, for example - when i first played gen 1 it was the best thing ever and it will always have a special place in my heart, but looking back it hasn't aged super well and there are a lot of things I'm glad changed because they were pretty annoying.

Well, I do. Even though, I don't think I'm biased when I say 90s have better things in a lot of aspects. Sure, technology is evolving now. But let's not forget that 90s have Nokia, and we all know how durable that thing is. laugh.png

Plus, the music, the TV series, the movies... all the classics. It's a known fact. Surely you have seen a lot of comments like "I miss the 90s era where everything is simpler" and that's saying something.

Yes. Yes I do. I'm always the last to try new technology.

Me too.
