If his astigmatism is so bad that he can't even wear contact lenses, wouldn't this be a good option? He often doesn't wear his glasses on variety shows and concerts so he probably isn't seeing too well and he looks lost a lot of the time. Maybe it would be good to invest in it? Maybe he just doesn't want to take the risk Well surgery usually begins with consultation with the eye surgeon and they will tell you if you are/not a suitable candidate. If you are not, than it will not be safe. Lasik procedure though for those that are suitable candidates is one of the safest surgical procedures though.
