Sub-units do not count. I have counted duos.

1. Bubble Sisters - 2003
2. Gavy NJ - 2005
3. LPG - 2005*
4. Brown Eyed Girls - 2006
5. Girls' Generation - 2007
6. Sunny Hill - 2007
7. Davichi - 2008
8. Miss $ - 2008
9. After School - 2009*
10. T-ara - 2009

* = no official statement, but likely disbanded

**CSJH The Grace and 15& are not included as they are on "hiatus"

Without line up changes:

1. Brown Eyed Girls - 2006
2. Davichi - 2008
3. Ladies' Code - 2013 (EunB and Rise forever in our hearts)
4. MAMAMOO - 2014
5. Lovelyz - 2014

6. Sonamoo - 2014
7. Gfriend - 2015
8. TWICE - 2015
9. CocoSori - 2016
10. Bolbbalgan4 - 2016

*Duo As One held the previous #1 position, being active together for 18 years, disbanded in 2017.

This list is ridiculously different compared to the one in 2016, which looked like this below

After school and tara debuted before fx. If the list was top 11 or something fx would be there.

Though one could argue after school is on hiatus like the grace and 15&.

True, that's my initial answer too, but how is after school "active"? But eh I guess I don't follow them as I do with f(x), and the group and other groups I thought inactive already *long before 2017

Did any of these have comeback in last 2 years?

It's probably worth noting that Sunny Hill debuted as a Coed group and only officially became a girl group in 2014 after their male member left, though he had been more or less on hiatus a couple of years by that point, even serving out his military service during that time.

BEG had been waiting for Gain to come back from her mental health break. Narsha said earlier this year that they would try to have a group album come out by the end of the year, obviously that was delayed because of waiting on Gain. Gain recently posted on instagram about getting back in the studio. So we should hopefully see BEG and or Gain solo activity in 2019. They are very much an active group due to the fact that they desire to continue making music together and have been vocal about it. They've been around for 12 years now so obviously their comeback frequency has slowed due to individual activities and living their own lives, so it makes sense for them to move towards a more western band model of new album ever 2-3 years. They don't need to promote like a typical idol group anymore after all these years to be considered an active group.

Because AS haven't declared an official hiatus like for example CSJH. It's why they have a star next to them that says likely disbanded.

I don't understand why RV aren't here....i mean they added a member just months after debut, it's not like anyone left....lol

It's still a lineup change. It's why despite OT6 T-ARA lineup since debut being the same as now, they're not included due to added members eventually leaving. I know it's not a big deal for RV because it was an addition a month later, but there's a separate list for no lineup changes for a reason. It is what it is yknow.

Some of those aren't really active. When is the last time BEG as a group had a comeback?

Active = not disbanded

1. Bubble Sisters - 2003

2. Gavy NJ - 2005

3. LPG - 2005*

4. Brown Eyed Girls - 2006

LPG has a star next to them for a reason. See the above person for BEG.

Gavy NJ did. And Bubble Sisters released multiple songs this year, see Genie: http://www.genie.co.kr/detail/artistAlbum?xxnm=14957680
