lilsone 187
Oki Im thinking about getting a new piercing, but still not sure where... I already have the "normal" ones, a helix and a tragus, I want just one more. I was thinking about a inner conch or forward helix? I want it at the top part of the ear, anyone with piercing who want to share their experience? idk any advice? and for people who dont know that im talking about, here is a picture that shows the types of piercing
Nimz 3,113
I have a conch piercing in my left ear that even after a year is still a little finicky despite taking care of it. Getting it did not hurt at all; I actually laughed when he was done because I didn't feel a thing. It all depends on your pain tolerance, though. You might feel it. Be prepared for it to hurt for a couple days after, and make sure to take care of it. Follow every single care step they give you. Most important is to leave it alone when you're not cleaning it. Don't touch it. Don't even think of touching it. Do all that and you should be fine.
teal 2,285
i have a conch piercing and tragus piercing on the same ear. i also have the traditional "cartilage" piercing on my other ear. i can't recommend a piercing to you because each person and their ears and are different and will react differently. but out of them, i love my tragus piercing the best. i still regret not getting both tragus piercings done at the same time but as the tattoo says, no ragrets. blossoms 4,722
I have a daith piecing and it's my favourite thing ever, I have a heart in it. It was quite painful at first so I just left it alone for a few months, I only ever touched it to clean it but now its so painless I can like tug on it and everything lol. It also helped get rid of headaches. would recommend.

Repeat 1,397
I have a snug piercing and I wouldn't recommend it. I had problems with it for years after getting it done and I still do occasionally if I talk on the phone on that side. Looks fantastic though haha people still comment on it. My advice would be talk to your piercer about the shape of your ear and which piercing would work best.

I kinda had the same problems with my helix (but i think the big problem was that I did it with a pistol not a needle) and I think a have a high pain tolerance.... I think haha i have a conch piercing and tragus piercing on the same ear. i also have the traditional "cartilage" piercing on my other ear. i can't recommend a piercing to you because each person and their ears and are different and will react differently. but out of them, i love my tragus piercing the best. i still regret not getting both tragus piercings done at the same time but as the tattoo says, no ragrets. Thank you for that, and I must say tragus is the best. when I told people that I know that I was getting a tragus they scared me with the "you will be deaf if you get it"!!!??? I'm gonna try helix soon.. got 3 pierce on left ear (lobes) and 2 on my right ear(lobes).. Helix is nice too, but you have to take very good care of it, dont touch it and clean it everyday until it heals I have a daith piecing and it's my favourite thing ever, I have a heart in it. It was quite painful at first so I just left it alone for a few months, I only ever touched it to clean it but now its so painless I can like tug on it and everything lol.
