KANJI SEMPAI 49 Posted December 23, 2018 Share Posted December 23, 2018 What I dont really like about OH is the Reputation system and the downvote/neg button. It's just wrong and it offends me. The most popular sites around the world like Twitter, Facebook and AKP forums only has the 'like' button but Onehallyu still has this evil downvote button. Having this pointless feature only encourages negativity on this forum with users negging opinions they don't agree with and trolls aiming for the lowest negs. It also has negative psychological effects as it incites fear on users which is why many are too afraid to make threads. On top of that you are unfairly profiled based on your reputation and this star rating (I don't get this star thingy.) What I am saying is that OH is like a dystopian nightmare and the black mirror of Kpop forums atm. If you remove this downvote button along with the reputation system, it could save mods alot of time dealing with users asking 'Am I being negstalked?' and make this Kpop community more welcoming. If some people can't handle some negs on a forum and take reputation seriously then good luck with the outside world because life isn't that nice and not everyone will go your way or live under a rainbow. I mean its just a representation of the way people and life are. People aren't always going to agree with you, and in fact they will definitely disagree with you, sometimes aggressively. OH is a typical online forum and it's fairly benign considering what is actually on the internet.
