I find Korean ppl to be very sensitive

I once asked a Korean school mate 'jugulae?' as a joke and he was like 'YAH!' and chased me for 10 minutes straight. I had to hide in the toilet and I couldn't stop sweating the entire day  This is when I learned that Korean ppl are very sensitive and easily triggered. It's no wonder why there is so much crying and shouting in K Dramas.

Your using a cuss word and even if you didn't meant it in a harmful way but it's different and offensive to them. Same thing could be said when straights calls gays the F word and none blacks says the N word.

It's a common phrase used in many K dramas/movies and can be used between boyfriends/girlfriends in a playful way. I don't see how this is related to the F word or the N word. Also one is homophobia and one is racism. They're not the same.

actually you will get warning points in this forum for joking about wanting someone to die smile.png

Spoiler

We do not condone any death threats, wishes of harm or destruction, statements of hoping others were never born/aborted, or malevolence upon others, including users, staff, and/or celebrities.

Death and Harm Wishes Toward Others
1st offense: Posting Rights Removed (3 Days) + 3 Points
2nd offense: Suspension (3 Days) + 5 Points

This rule is upheld whether the death threat/wishes of harm are serious or non-serious.

so does the N and F word. You get the results so clearly it's "offensive" to them.

sounds more like one specific person is sensitive and that we shouldn't generalize a whole ethnic group based on one persons actions

anyways 죽ì„래 is a pretty harsh thing to say especially to someone you don't know (and don't know well enough to speak informally to)

the OP is an idiot for thinking they can poll a joke like that on a korean person who's not close to them, koreans are very strict with formal and informal speak,

i have seen some western people complain when a korean person jokingly smack their butt slightly! and here the OP is saying the korean person was sensitive! different people different cultures can be sensitive to different things ,..

Exactly! OP, maybe stop watching kdramas for once and understand that it doesn't work like that in real life cause different culture means different perspectives to people. Your not even korean yourself, are you OP? and you have the audacity to call them like that just bc "it's a common phrase you seen in Kdramas111" and then your gonna call them "sensitive111"? gee the outrage if somehow straights or none blacks do this with those words bc of this reasoning "it's a common phrases111" so I'm allowed to say it.
