Are chocolates the most common form of gifts you get for Christmas?

HELL YES! For me. And in particular it's the Ferrero Roche or the Lindt 

chocolates that I get from parents since I'm a kindergarten

teacher. I have enough to run a shop.

 

Don't bother wrapping these bad boys up cos I could tell by

Either chocolates or stuff like hand creams. I love Ferrero Rocher so much even though it's such a typical chocolate gift <3

yeah (even for birthdays and stuff), if I had to get someone I'm not that familiar with a present it'd probably be chocolates since they're a pretty safe option

 

tbh I'm not the biggest fan of lindt though, I've always found most of their chocolates too rich

Never received chocolates as a gift on their own. But it's common to give chocolate with cash or gift cards.

I do get chocolates, brownies, cookies, cake. Basically food bec that's what I'll be most appreciative of.

But if like an acquaintance, it would be mugs, candles, specialty soap, lotion... those are the typical Christmas packaged stuff available at the mall.

Yep, and lollies in general. My parents and grandparents often give me lindt balls, malteasers, favourites or celebrations, allens, etc for xmas and birthdays

I've never seen anyone gift/be gifted chocolates here, I think it'd be considered kinda weird and cheap even if the chocolates were actually expensive

I usually get gifted some piece of clothing (thats ugly and 2 sizes larger and when I go to return it everything in that shop is ugly as well or way more expensive) :s

I think I'd rather receive chocolates, even the cheapest ones
