Shin Sung Rok Suffers Injury On Set Of “The Last Empress�

Shin Sung Rok has suffered an injury on set of SBS’s “The Last Empress.â€

 

 

 

 

 

On December 19, a source from Shin Sung Rok’s agency HB Entertainment stated, “While filming for ‘The Last Empress’ yesterday [December 18], Shin Sung Rok fractured his toe. As he is scheduled to undergo surgery today [December 19], he will be returning to the drama set tomorrow after receiving treatment at the hospital.â€

 

The source from his agency also explained, “There were no other injuries outside of his toe injury.â€

 

Shin Sung Rok currently stars in “The Last Empress†as the emperor Lee Hyuk. The drama is set in an alternate reality where modern-day Korea is a constitutional monarchy. Jang Nara and Choi Jin Hyuk also appear in this Wednesday-Thursday drama.
