Who has the potential to have a successful solo career in Twice?

If we just use "educated guess" then I would say Nayeon. But these things are hard to predict. When I watched WG back then I would've never guessed Sunmi would be a soloist material (I like her but she just didn't have as much spotlight from what I remember). So gut feelings, I think Chaeyoung might really surprise us with her subtle wild and bold side. She also is one of the members who shows interest in composing songs.

Overall depends. I don't see TWICE starting serious solo stuff until 2021/2022.

They won't wait too long to the point they are a shell of what they used to be before starting solo's like SM did to Soshi, nor will they immediately start popping off solo's very early into their career like YG did to BP.

Going to be interesting to see how their careers turn out.

Nayeon possibly? Maybe Jihyo? In terms of being a singer in Korea.

Jeongyeon most likely in terms of acting alongside her sister in Korea.

Momo, Mina, Sana most likely in terms of modeling, singing, or acting in Japan.

Tzuyu in terms of modeling Asia wide. But the girl is shy so far and comfortable just being in a group.

Chaeyoung maybe going solo somewhat like Heize. But slim chance. She might just end up composing.

Dahyun? Maybe as a variety host or TV personality? Possibly a chance for acting as well.

Would be pretty amazing if all 9 of them had somewhat to very successful careers and able to build a little legacy for themselves. I personally see the rise of solo artist in Korea rising in the next five years. So many people will start going solo. It's going to be interesting to witness.

Would be my delulu dream for atleast one of the J-Line to have a moderately successful Artist career in Japan.

Since no other Korean Girl Group soloist has done so before.

I don't even want PAK's or anything. As long as they do at the least decent then I am fine.

SM really did Soshi dirty by waiting that long.

In my opinion they should've had another CB after IGAB sometime in May.

Then started the girls solo careers in full force. Starting with Taeyeon, then Yoona, then Jessica, and so on and so forth.

Anyways, the only issue is that while TWICE, so far, has enough staff to mange the group.

All 9 of them going solo? That means each girl is going to at least need a team of 3 people.

That's not already including the TWICE staff. So it's going to be interesting to see how they juggle them all.

Maybe a little sub-staff dedicated solely to TWICE solos?

Or maybe when TWICE as a group isn't doing anything their entire staff focuses on helping them solo wise?

We shall see.

Nayeon, she’s the popular one and her singing is acknowledged, but I don’t know if any of the other girls are really musically mature enough to be on a stage by themselves. Also JYP’s track record of looking after the rest of the group when one goes solo is pretty grim, so I’d say it’s better for TWICE to stay a whole.
