Momoclo's Momota Kanako & actress Tsuchiya Tao to sing together in a drama

Momoiro Clover Z's Momota Kanako and actress Tsuchiya Tao will be starring in Yomiuri TV's 60th anniversary special drama 'Yakusoku no Stage ~Toki wo Kakeru Futari no Uta~' in spring of 2019. 

 

This drama is based on a 1970s audition program that aired on Yomiuri TV. In the drama, Tsuchiya and Momota aim to become singers together. On co-starring with Tsuchiya, Momota commented, "Tsuchiya Tao-san and I are the same age, and although we usually work in different fields, it makes me really happy that we can work together like this. I hope to deliver how fun and wonderful singing is through the drama." 

 

The drama is directed by Sasabe Kiyoshi, and the script is written by Tokunaga Yuichi. Besides Tsuchiya and Momota, the other cast members will be revealed at a later date.
