what do you think of this?

Korea Communications Standards Comission (KCSC) has always been making judgments about the content of variety shows and other forms of tv entertainment (including music live shows, dramas, etc.)...

Recently, they have issues a warning against tvN's "Life Bar" for drinking alcohol for a lengthy period and discussing about alcohol... (for them, they saw the show as promoting alcohol in a positive light)

The organization has also just recently issued a legal sanction against Running Man for broadcasting a scene of "sexual harrassment" a few months back in August -> when Kwangsoo pulled down Jongkook pants to expose his underwear... why now??

What do you think of this organization? Are they too harsh with their "standards"?? First of all, the variety show 2 Days 1 Night has done an entire special (2-episodes) of the members getting tipsy-drunk on almost 20 kinds of alcohol and then going on a hangover soup trip after -> and of course by finding the best hangover soup, that also means that it's the best for drinking after having a lot of alcohol, but nothing was said about this...  and same with taking people's shirts off and such, 2 Days 1 Night has had so many episodes of members stripping Kim Junho naked or himself taking off his clothing leaving only leggings or his underwear (with this almost never blurred out at all)... and this show is also for young viewers like Running Man, except their viewer rating is 15 or + and Running Man is for 12 or + (but in RM's case, it was blurred out)... many other variety shows have also done similar things like this, but Running Man is the only show that has received several warnings and has even been in danger of being cancelled by this organization.... **[by the way, I have nothing against 2D1N, I'm just using it as an example in this case because at the moment, I watch Running Man & 2D1N the most]

I feel like this organization is totally biased... because there are so many incidents on music live shows where girl groups wear super revealing clothing (short shorts or mini skirts to the point that you can almost see their butt) and lyrics that metaphorically represent sexual activity which should be deemed inappropriate since these live shows are usually open to all these younger viewers but I don't see them do anything about that... and same for the variety shows, why does it seem like they only have something against Running Man?? Who is running this organization anyway??

Aren’t some of their recent warnings because of JSM and her sexual comments that are not in line with being suitable for 12 years olds, I think they’re fed up of their warnings not being heeded.

no... there wasn't even a single warning issued against the show for Somin's actions or words... the only recent cases were Kwangsoo swearing in the WINNER/AOA summer episode (with the editors apparently not blurring it out "properly" -> which isn't even the case) and this other so-called "sexual harrassment" case that I just mentioned above... but they just recently issued this sanction for something that happened all the way back in August... it's like they're nitpicking on everything Running Man is doing which is crazy... why didn't they say something back then... and only now?? it's also kinda ridiculous calling it sexual harrassment because that would mean that all other cases similar to this is sexual harrassment as well, but they haven't issued this warning to other shows... only Running Man...

Where were they when people (casts, guests) did the same thing to lee kwang soo? And I'm only pointing it because he's my fave. Everyone knows there are much, way worse things happened in TV before and nobody issued any warning.

Either do their job properly and fairly, or shut up.

Drawing alcohol on positive light? How about they ban alcohol cfs first?
