I have nowhere to post this/don't want to talk to my friends about this lol but I'm having a test in two days I know I'm gonna fail and I feel like such a fool for it rlytearpls.png  it's not even a difficult course but I'm already so far behind it's just impossible to even go through all the course materials at this point

What sucks is that I know that in other circumstances I would've been able to pass this test so easily but it's my depression that's kicking my ass these days, if I hadn't spent so many days in bed I would have been able to study more and I would never have missed the lectures to begin with so I wouldn't have had to study this much anyhow and it's just adfhskhdf rlytearpls.png I hate this and I hate that my parents don't understand because I can just feel their disappointed and it's like... I'm disappointed too rlytearpls.png

Cheer me up? imstupid.png It would greatly be appreciated OTL

You can grab as much useful and fundamental information you can about your course in the remaining time, something is better than nothing.  like you can highlight the most crucial parts of your course and try to memorise them, you might a least pass with a C.

Just remember that one failure doesn't define you.

I may not be the best person to say this cuz I'm also in the same position and still struggling to overcome it pff, but just know that what's important right now is to build your steps bit by bit. If you're able to get out of the bed for today, or clean your room for a bit, or even better walk outside to get some sun, it's enough.

I hope your parents will learn to understand someday. It sucks when people who are supposed to be the most understanding aren't the most supportive people in your life.

This is what I used to do in circumstances like yours.

Let's say a question is going to have 10 marks. I knew there was no chance I was ever going to get 10, so forget that. So how many marks could I get? Well, there's usually about 2-3 marks for the basic stuff. I could probably learn that. I'll spend all my time learning and relearning the basic stuff.

Maybe I could study a bit more, maybe for one more mark? That's 4 marks. Still a fail, but just one more mark and it's a pass. OK, how about I study just that bit more and hope for this best. 5 out of 10 is maybe about possible.

And then try and avoid that experience in the future!

Good luck. Just don't give up, that's all.

YOU CAN PASS IT!!! If possible look at previous exams, lectures dont mean shit if you dont at least see how the previous exams were given, seriously it will give you an idea how it will be and its even better if you have the corrections, if you dont have them then just look for the answers in the lecture notes, and if you dont have the previous exams at all, just write down the most important subjects covered in the course and look through each one without going into the details.

I agree with this.

There isn't enough time to study everything and you're letting the thought of it overwhelm you. Just try to study the bits that are most likely to be the big mark questions in the exam. Can you get a hold of any past exam papers so you can what is usually focused on?

Also depression is a genuine excuse to fail a subject. Could you see a dr and get special consideration for the course/exam?
