However it's quite transparent that the US are countering China's rise by persuading other countries to stop doing business with China which is discrimination. It's so hypocritical when Mike Pompeo called China detaining the 2 Canadians as 'unacceptable' when Trump openly confirmed the US is using Meng as hostage in their US/China trade deal. drakan 111 Posted December 18, 2018 Share Posted December 18, 2018 As a Chinese and US national, China doesn't develop anything. They reverse engineer and then build and sell it as their own. When France was commissioned to build the high speed trains in China, shortly after the project was completed China already stole all the technology and turned around to build high speed trains for African nations at a fraction of the price.
