They were the best for their generation. For this decade however, it's still up to debate. It also almost singlehandedly made SNSD the biggest name in kpop, they could've skipped genie (what a nightmare that would be) and still swept everything in sight. Hell it even started a fashion trend of colourful skinny jeans. I mean put it this way: I got into kpop late 2010 - well over a year after gee came out - and it was STILL regularly played on shows, performed often and continually talked about.
