Jason Mamoa is great as Aquaman, the actions sequences are extremely well done and the story is also really well told (could have been edited a bit better though).The history of Atlantis is told in a great way (like MOS) and the relationship between Aquaman's parents is portrayed beautifully. The villian/s aren't that bad either. There is quite a bit of humour in the film but it's not the comedy but drama and action that's the main focus. I would not be surprised if it turns out to be the most successful movie of the DC Universe so far (Wonder Woman was slightly better imo) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The film got like super corny at some points though, especially in the beginning with Arthur's parents and the romance between him and Mera. It's weird how DC manages to be even more corny than Marvel nowadays. Overall it isn't an amazing movie or story, but it's just a crap ton of fun that I would recommend anyone to watch.
