How long were you a fan of Kpop before you had an ultimate group and bias?

I saw SHINee perform the day I got into Kpop and they became my ultimate group.  Jaejoong was my first favorite Kpopper before I really got into Kpop.

I dunno what constitutes an ultimate group because I feel like I've switched faves a lot over the years. LOL

I discovered kpop through TVXQ and they were my favorite group for like 3 or 4 years.

I got into kpop in 2007 and been stanning bangtan since the beginning (2013) ^^

 

and like I said above my faves for the first few years were TVXQ

 

I think after that I fell into nugu hell and stanned mostly now-disbanded groups until bangtan

i knew boa since grade 7 from her japanese song brand new beat (just never knew she was korean or a kpop artist). Became a kpop fan 3 years later when I heard replay and fire (my friends showed them to me).

i was semi-stanning snsd and 2ne1 back in the day...from like 2012 until 2014 

 

i didn't have my ultimate bias (gfriend) until 2015 since that's their debut year

I got into Kpop in 2014 and stanned a lot of groups but I didn't have an ultimate bias group until Blackpink debuted. So it was two years?

 

Although I really liked iKON, but I'm still torn on whether they were actually my bias group at the time. But I knew that it was definitely Blackpink the moment I watched their debut stage, that decision was just instant for me.

Day one in 2008. I saw Kara's Rock U as my first Kpop mv. They and member Seungyeon became my ultimate biases and remain so.

I didn't get into kpop because of a group, really. I was just browsing on youtube one day and saw flashy thumbnails. So I was like oh okay. Watched a few: WG, 2NE1, BIGBANG, 2PM, Suju, T-ARA, SNSD, SHINee...It peaked my interest (the beats, the colourful MVs, the dancing, the visuals). I really got into Jiyeon from T-ARA (so pretty, actually the first fancams I looked up) so it got me into dramas (she was acting at the time). And from then, the loophole of variety shows, 2PM Idol Army, INFINITE sesame player, etc. I never "stanned" any of them, I mostly liked individual members in each.

Okay, intersting!  I found out about Kdrama first and then went to Kcon, which got me into Kpop.
