Not surpirsed it went down in part 3.... MAMA literally finished at around 12:30 AM. It was 4 f'ing hours, like wtf. Plus, Koreans usually just watch the performances, or the 'highlights', on YouTube the next day. That's what a bunch of guys said in DKDKTV's video.

People here ranting and raving over tv viewership in a country that they don't even live in. Waste of time.

 

It was a popular show regardless

 

The online engagement, bigger venue sizes and streaming numbers clearly show the case.

As expected, RATINGS DISASTER. The 3 year decline continues.

 

2018 Ratings Average of 3 parts: 1.879

 

2017 Ratings

Part 1: 1.902%

Part 2: 2.293%

Part 3: 2.131%

 

Average rating: 2.109%

 

 

Pretty easy to see why.

 

MAMA ratings with BIGBANG/YG artists

 

2012: 3.5% (Highest when BIGBANG was awarded 7.35%)

 

2013: 4.8% (Highest during BIGBANG's performance 6.92%)

 

2014: 3.4% (Highest during GD + Taeyang performance)

 

2015: 3.2% (Highest during 2ne1/EXO, then, BIGBANG)

 

No YG artists

2016: 1.6%

 

2017: 2.1% (peak of 2.3% during RV, NCT127 and EXO..)
