From Suga crying in the shower after AMA 2017 to RM having anxiety attacks, this didn't come as a shock to me at all

I'm honestly relieved that they overcame this hurdle and shared their most vulnerable state with ARMY

But I always had it in the back of my mind, they would break someday.

Because no human being can take that much offense on all sides (antis, media, government, ARMY, themselves) without breaking.

The BTS that I've been following have said countless times they were not expecting or even daring to dream the level of success they have now. That they would consider an ARENA tour in SOUTH KOREA their peak. That winning ONE daesang would be their end goal.

But ARMY, being the most stubborn fandom to ever exist, was not having any of it.

Just like in Burn The Stage movie, I hope the ecosystem that protects BTS, continues to understand them from their own pov.

Maybe now ARMYs mentality will be rewired differently for 2019 BTS

Here's the thing people who always yell "IDOLS HAVE IT SO EASY! THEY SHOULDN'T COMPLAIN!" don't get... many idols who reach the top or are climbing higher feel an immense pressure placed on them, even we as people feel this pressure sometimes "I have to do well, i have to get this, i have to end up here, i can't drop below this grade etc.." but idols are in the spotlight and under the eyes of a worldwide audience , you as a regular degular person feels that type of pressure under the eyes of a couple people now place yourself in an idol's shoes who is being watched by millions of people, and then thousands within those millions are waiting for you to fuck up like sharks in water waiting for somebody to drop off a boat.

I'm never surprised or shocked when an idol is revealed to have depression or anxiety. I may make my jokes about "wait for thotannah in 2019" but I personally would never want to be an idol or celebrity. That's a level of pressure I don't want to experience or need to experience to understand it.. I can empathize and imagine it just fine with the amount I feel with only a couple of eyes on me.
