What do you wish your fandom would give up on already

Be it setting extravagant goals, twitter behavior or otherwise...

mine is this:

It's almost the equivalent of No Jams at this point

Also stop picking on small groups for the smallest mistake, that Momoland thing was stupid imo

Edit:

Shippers need to get over themselves tbh. Just because you're faves touched or interacted outside of an official event does not mean that you should trend a hashtag for the world to see...

International fans need to stop putting Korean fans on a pedestal just because of their race/proximity to your faves, they probably stan their faves for the same reasons as you do and should not be held in a higher regard than international fans...

Can Jimin-biased fans stop calling themselves PJM's it's annoying, this is coming from someone who's stanned Jimin for over five years.

to stop obsessing over line distributions! souleyesplz.png

...meaning stop on hating jongin when he has lines

omg yes, and afaik Jongin is a fairly capable singer, granted I haven't listened to Exo since Monster... but he's pretty good imo... lovestruck.png

yesss and he's so enthusiastic in improving his vocals and seem pretty excited about it

...but some people literally will hate a song because he'll have more lines than their faves

- People need to stop with the mob mentality. When your favorite big account is calling out a dumbass on twitter there is no need for you go go further by spaming them with insults or worse. Dozens of others will do the same thing, many crossing the line and that's literally harassment.

- No, criticizing fellow fans is not being an apologist. Criticizing fellow fans is also not throwing the group under the bus.

- No, defending an other group/artist is not being an apologist. Defending an other group/artist is also not throwing the group under the bus.

- Some 'supremacists' need to actually read interviews and watch all the contents they talk before twisting the members words to fit their own agenda.

- Using the group/fandom past hardships to justify dragging other artists/idols over the smallest shit doesn't make you a defender. It makes you an asshole.

not to give up, but to reduce the amount of COMPLAINING to the company over a slight details/action/mistake that they don't see fit.

this kind of people usually just a solo stan or a casual fan who don't follow the current situation and what's been around, and then take it on to social media to rant to the company, mocking, and badmouthing them while in fact the company have been giving their all and true fans can actually see them stepping up their effort.

i know the company made some mistakes in the past, but they are trying to be better now. constructive riticsm is good but please do say thank you for their effort. is it that hard to be thankful?

Fans getting mad over people who stan multiple groups, especially the popular ones (BP and BTS are the ones I see the most).

Fans also need to stop digging EVERY little thing from the past and nitpicking EVERYthing every time some small controversy arises

this isn't armys really as much as it's solo stans/akgaes (even if they call themselves armys) but the people constantly accusing the rest of the fandom of hating their bias...it's so annoying and just wrong. just some days ago taehyung solo stans were accusing the fandom of never caring to suspend accounts that hate on him and like the next day jimin solo stans were complaining about the same thing lmao.

it's like they live in their own world and they also can't understand how hard it is to suspend accounts. just bc armys managed to suspend some accounts quickly doesn't mean it's easy or that we aren't trying to suspend others too??? how are they just going to say we aren't trying to suspend x when there are daily call out tweets on my tl and when we've mass reported multiple times???

like these people usually just follow those that have the same bias yet somehow act like they know what the rest of the fandom is doing (or not doing) lol

Western validation/BBMA social artist award. I get it, a lot of people acted like cunts then and are hypocrites, but there's no need to bring it up everytime some kpop group has an activity or achievement in US.

People are too entitled and demanding. No compassion for the boys at all.

OT7 nonsense has gone too far on twitter. You can't praise your bias anymore without 1000's of idiots screaming ot7 at you.

Fandoms need to stop with the mentality that their bias owns certain concepts or something. I saw a comment chain on Youtube that went down like:

A: You can't use that, that belongs to [My Faves]
B: What? That can be used for anyone, this is why we can't stop fan wars.
A: Do I look like I care? That's ours.

BTS "supremacists" or other variations of the term need to die

Like don't get me wrong you can like only BTS, that's not the point, but using words like supremacist just have very bad connotations

Agreed, like you're not a Nazi/White Supremacist, so don't call yourself a supremacist...

like call yourself a BTS only fan, or maybe and elitist (though that kind of sounds a bit snobby tbh)

another thing would be the conspiracy theories...people take it too far and 99% of the time it makes us look like dumbasses. like some stuff is plausible but 90% of those theories have much simpler and probable explanations and i have no idea why people don't look into things better 0u0plz.png if you really want to talk about your theories maybe keep it in the dms. from what i've seen the biggest accs starting the mess with that are new and weird af too for some reason. idk why so many armys immediately latch on to what they say

I know that we want them to be appreciated and get the full spotlight like they used to years ago, but that's just not the situation right now. It's better to make peace with what we have than to be stuck in your bitterness about "how EXID is underrated and doesn't deserve to be slept on". And they're not underrated; they get plenty of attention, just not enough to compare with the other, more trendy groups at the moment. Popularity rises and falls, it happens.
