Absolutely not. If Wanna One wins, ArOTY will be more than deserved because what they achieved in 1 year debut has not been achieved by anyone in many years.

 

If win BTS or Wanna One it will be well deserved for both.

 

In 2011 B2ST won ArOTY against SNSD with The Boys and in 2012 against BIGBANG with Fantastic Baby at MMA, and 2PM won ArOTY against SNSD with Gee at MAMA.
