The most known group who would be in better position is Nine Muses, but what about some 3rd gen cuties? None of these group are doing bad, but maybe they could reach top if they simply skipped debut song.

Many people disliked CUPID, most people liked Closer.

I think Closer is closer to what is ideal concept for girls. 

In the end I prefer Cupid, because of the beat (which people hate).

But if they debuted with Closer, they would stand out more imo.

Hi is clearly superior to Candy Jelly Love, which was kinda disappointing.

Candy Jelly Love isnt bad, just kinda flat (in my opinion).

I discussed this a while ago about if Oh My Girl debuted with Closer. Most people think that if Closer was their debut song, it would also be buried as they should debut that song later on when they gain more exposure.

If those songs were enough they would have taken off with them. Its rare for a group to take off with their debut in the first place.

Probably not because even debuting with their best selling song there’s still a high chance of not doing well since they start from 0 with barely any fans. Also, for Lovelyz Ah Choo was their most popular song so I doubt Hi would make a difference.

Tbh i don't think that if OMG had debuted with Closer, the song would have received the attention it got. IMO the best moment would be between Liar Liar - Aing~.

 

Candy Jelly Love is such a good song, it fitted the season it was released so nope.

 

Wonderland is a good song, and the transition between Wonderland and A Girl Like Me served to show how versatile Gugudan can be.

 

Momomo is atrocious. Secret is a million ages better than that, so yeeeeees big fat yes.

Wons and gugudan definetly. Their debut songs were just tragic and managed to kill any hype. However I'm not sure how much more successful they would have been in the long run.

Esp Gugudan, Wonderland is such a basic song (at least imo). Not to mention the crappy low budget mv. Jellyfish basically killed their predebut hype.
