katsu curry chips 7,808 Posted December 10, 2018 Share Posted December 10, 2018 for whatever reason too much of an impression maybe? some experiences are only worth while once for me, it's All About Lily Chou Chou it's one of my all time fav movies, i reference it constantly and it made a huge impression on me as a young movie aficionado and 90's kid. but i don't want or need to see it again... it's not THE MOST disturbing movie i've ever seen, by FAR, and yet it's just not something i want to sit through again. i won't say never, but i've actively turned it down many times. how about you? additional treat: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was in the cinema with a group of friends and after the movie, the mood was so down... because everyone was still busy with the movie. It was strange, tbh. But just a sign how good this movie is. Yup when I started the movie I never thought it would end like that. The story and characters were portrayed perfectly however I can't dare to watch it again. I've cried for about 4 hours straight after the movie until I fell asleep and that was a first for me. No movie had ever made me feel that way. But it’s a classic so my parents were like “you have to watch it†and I asked if it was sad like I thought and they said it wasn’t. But... it was. I kind of regret watching it cause I probably think about that part of the movie more than I should, it really stuck with me, but I can’t deny that movie was a masterpiece.
