1. [+5,165, -330] It’s easier for them to make a Japanese debut if they add in several Japanese members, I think there will be quiet a few groups like them coming out in the future if they think it’ll be easier for them to be welcomed in Japan

2. [+689, -117] Although it was planned from the start that the group would debut in Korea and Japan, there was a member who wore goods supporting comfort women several different times while on the survival program that they auditioned on to debut in IZONE. What were the results, well in the final position, she shot up to 3rd place in the ranking. And the store that the comfort women supporting goods were from, has shamelessly advanced into Japan. IZONE has been bashed a number of times in Korea as well. ① They protested that the Japanese members should not be allowed to appear on music programs since they’re members of a right-wing group, ② They protested that they shouldn’t perform Akitmoto’s song for IZONE because it has Japanese lyrics, ③ When a Korean member stated that she liked ‘Attack on Titan’, she was attacked for being thoughtless since it was located on Battleship Island, ④ And now they’re even protesting, because the Japanese members shouldn’t appear on Japanese music programs! Or have concerts! Until their contract with IZONE is over.

3. [+137, -55] They should leave that group immediately. It’ll make me way happier if they returned to Japan.

4. [+111, -27] I don’t think they’ll be popular here

5. [+113, -31] Poor things. They go this far to be famous, it’s diffcult huh. I think there’s other places that they can shine in more

6. [+79, -10] I’d want to support them, if their members were from other countries in Asia.

7. [+79, -6] The person that regularly wears comfort women goods is in this group right.

8. [+68, -13] What kind of demand is there for them…

9. [+30, -5] This is probably the worst timing..

the fuck are these comments....

anyway Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi better have ALL the screen time in the MV to make up for the xenophobia that got them the short in the stick in their korean debut.

You know how Sakura was all over the "No way man" pv....ima need that same energy and put #3 or #12 in the back this time...not sakura

welllllllll tbh tbh tbh tbh tbh if the votes in the final lineup were actually legit and valid

they would have had at least 3 more Japanese members in the first place

but the past is the past....I just hate that actually watched pd48 in its entirety...stale taste

Several Japanese members? There’s 3, it’s barely that. It would truly be several if the valid votes would’ve been put towards IZ*One as oppose to Mnet rigging it.

I don’t support the xenophobia from either side, but this commenter has a point

The Japanese/Jnetz are gonna do the same out of spite towards the Korean members and anything associated with Korea. Since they knew the mess Koreans tried to petition to ban Japanese members and threw a bunch of groundless hate towards anything Japanese since PD48 and Iz*one, they might do the same by trying to ban and boycott since this is a Korean-produced group. The J-industy just like the Korean one won't ban them for sure since there are 3 48g members and Aki-P back-up but Jnetz/Japanese public will act the same type of pettiness like Knetz/Korean public.

I really think 6 Korean and 6 Japanese members is a good idea. Yes, they gonna promote heavily in Korea but they also want to make debut in Japan. If their only exxuses is Sakura, Nako and Hitomi cannot speak Korean, its the same with Korean member if they debut in Japan. They also cannot speak Japanese. Or at least add someone like Miho and Kaeun who can speak both language.

So much disgusting bull shit and ignorance. As expected of a rightwing radical Japanese commenter. Instead of blaming Yuri for supporting the vitims of rape and abused by your county in the past, or wondering why a county that was forcibly occupied by the Japanese and had their own language Hangul stripped away from them and replaced by Japanese would want to limit Japanese language as much as possible on public broadcasts, or why fans were against them going to AKB concert (which they shouldn't have done anyway according to what the company had already explained about their exclusive contract), you should go relfect instead. Mess people in here are supporting these nonsense commenters with half a brain.

This ain't it, sis. There is nothing wrong with Yuri wearing a comfort woman shirt, but your comment was overly aggressive.

No sis, YOU ain't it. Y'all stay excusing these right wingers on their bullshit, but if this were knet comments you guys would be singing a different tune. Calling them Xenophobic and trash.

And nothing I said was wrong. Or do you think this guy is right? There were several things wrong with what he said.

Japan FORECIBLY took occupation of Korea. Forced them to get rid of their own language. Speaking Korean was literally made a CRIME and THAT is why to this day Koreans who many alive are sill suffering from the abuse chose to limit the amount of influence Japanese on PUBLIC television have. Yet, that jnet who showed he did not give a shit about the women who were raped or abused, acted as if Koreans we're against it to be petty or something when in fact it has to do with the political history.

Furthermore, they were wrong about the fans not wanting them to promote in Japan as well. Fans were against the AKB members returning to do a solo cocert with their former group, which the company explained they would not do after debut because their contract was meant to be exclusive to avoid another I.O.I happening again, which meant the company decieved them.

But go off I guess.
