After its “Love Yourself†world tour sweeping across North America and Europe, hit South Korean boyband Bangtan Boys, better known as BTS, has returned to Asia for more shows. The boyband is set to stage two shows on Saturday and Sunday at the Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium, which is capable of accommodating up to 25,000 fans at each show.

To prevent ticket scalpers from selling at excessive prices, buyers had to correctly answer a series of questions about BTS before they purchased tickets. Even then, the 50,000 tickets were sold out in mere minutes. The demand was so high that a ticket originally priced at NT$7,800 (about US$253) was reportedly sold at NT$170,000 by an online scalper.

I bet my money that for their worldwide stadium tour next year, they will surpass 2M+ attendees dave.png They will most likely have 1M attendees from just the US + Japan alone. They better book huge stadiums here in the US, or else ohpressor.png  I promised my brother and sister that I would take them next year since I couldn't get them tickets for Citi Field, lol. They weren't happy that I went alone.

Make money, boys!!!

That's insane. They're really dominating the whole world. The numbers at the end of this tour (still no end announced...) are gonna be huge.

Please figure something like this out for the rumored 2019 American stadium shows.

new record in taiwan?

how about suju and jaychou?have they ever held a concert at  this venue?

They broke the record for kpop groups

Concerts held by major mandarin acts like Jay Chao, inevitably, still have much higher figures

If i remember correctly, Mayday has had 200k concert goers for theirs at National stadium

Also congrats!
