Do you skip the instruction manual when you're setting up a new device?

Not gonna lie, I do sometimes. I got no time to read the 

instructions and try to wing it myself. And it generally

turns out to be a fail!

Once you've set up a few things, it's mostly the same process on different devices.

Yeah same here, I’m confident enough about most tech/gadgets to skip it.

When it comes to IKEA furniture though, or anything you have to assemble, I gotta read through every step lol.

Most of the time yes. Although got a new washer and dryer and I made it a point to read the instruction manual on what all the buttons do since it was so different from the prior one we had.

It depends on what it is. If it's a smartphone or a laptop I skip it and I read only if there's something I don't understand (like inserting the SIM card.. I had trouble to find how to do that when I went from my old wiko with amovible battery to my Samsung). For anything else I always read it because I want to make sure that I can use my device at its full potential and safely

My new phone didn't even have a manual. I was about to set it up without a manual, then went to check if there actually was one. Turns out there wasn't. I like to think I can figure out new technology without that much guidance.

I do! There is rarely a time where I need to go back and reference some content on there. When it comes to buying a new laptop, the instruction manual is pretty much worthless.

Sometimes. Other times I read the manual before I even buy the device, and then every so often look at them again if necessary.
