I haven't had this much fun playing a Smash Game since Melee on the Gamecube, the combat feels different compared to Brawl & Smash 4, it's faster and more challenging to master, especially to casual players. The Soundtrack, Graphics and the Stages are really gorgeous and very well made. The new characters like Inkling & King K Rool in particular feel like great additions to the game, their move list is unique but still really flows with the gameplay. I'm enjoying the Spirit Mode but it has become a bit repetitive tbh, still a cool concept though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oliver 22,442 Posted December 9, 2018 Share Posted December 9, 2018 I love it... it really feels like the "ultimate" version of Smash taking the best elements of each smash game released before.. last friday we had a blast playing with 7 players.. The game is so much fun! right now Ridley seems way too OP as a new character and I love Isabelle.. her fishing move is so satisfying to pull off and hilarious ! (if you have) I haven't decided yet. In the older games Captain Falcon/Link/Samus were my go-to depending on who my friends picked but there are so many characters that I'm testing them all out. I mean... not really but all characters that debuted in previous games return and there's a Spirit Mode, and Classic mode is more theme based than random... that's it.
