She is viewed as a pathological liar in China and rumored to have tried to get him killed in a planned car accident to take his money and run off with her lover who was the person who managed every aspect of his career. I thought she would disappear out of shame, but apparently she is still constantly trying to get in the news. If he beat her up in front of cops, we would not be finding out about it from her social media.

I went down the rabbit hole and looked up the situation and saw that there was a video of the alleged victim entering the home of her ex-husband with her own mother while carrying a pair of scissors, supposedly in order to intimidate her ex husband's family members. His security were called in and the video shows her noticing that there is a security camera filming her actions and then Ma Rong attempts to smash it. Afterwards, she has staged a whole photoshoot of her injuries in the hospital and a dramatic video of her being carried out and people are saying from those photos to these ones, some of her injuries "shifted". She was apparently coming to pick up her children (based on her own words), but why would she come pick them up while wielding scissors at a time that they aren't even at home?
