not scary AT ALL but was labelled as horror movie so here u go lol

Korean

Yeah it's more of a supernatural thriller but good anyway.

The Cat was good too.

I also liked Cello, Princess Aurora (very graphic violence), Dead Friend, Death Bell 1 & 2 (T-ara Jiyeon), Ghastly (T-ara Hyomin), and White (T-ara Eunjung).

Japanese:

House

Noroi

Pulse

Korean:

A Tale of Two Sisters

I Saw the Devil

Thirst

Can't believe I forgot ISTD & Thirst. Two very good movies.

Pulse scared and depressed me. It was bleak as hell.

The first Tomie and Audition freaked me out too. (Both Japanese)

Japanese:

Strange Circus (has heavy sexual themes and is disturbing)

Suicide Circle (is really complex/ slight fantasy/ commentary on society)

Dark Water (so creepy)

The Confession (serial killer themed, REALLY recommend)

GOTH (visually stunning, serial killer, coming of age)

Love Ghost ( Mystery with a huge twist)

Korean:

Hansel and Gretel (visually stunning and amazing not as scary)

A Tale of Two Sisters

Momento Mori (classic horror story)

Death Bell (teenage, a more fun horror movie)

The Red Shoes

Strange Circus and Suicide Circle echoed.

Marebito/The Strangers is a great psychological horror about insanity, a bit Lovecraftian in sensibility.

불신지옥/Distrust Hell/Living Death/Faith/Possessed is pensive and pretty; you can figure out the themes from the plethora of titles.
