I have a really bad fear I'll get stuck inside but some weeks ago I got into one (just for 1 floor bc I had hurt my ankle) and after some minutes they doors remained closed (I had press the next floor button) but it didin't move. I didnt press any other buttons bc I thought it'd jam and I'd stay there forever, I started having a panic attack and getting dizzy from breathing too fast and thank god the doors finally opened and I got out of there all sweaty and shaking. So there have been times when an elevator stops and the lights turn off while people are using them. Sometimes it will take a few minutes before turning on by itself. Ego ista 1,344 Posted December 10, 2018 Share Posted December 10, 2018 Yes (kind of) when I was 7 My grandparents (and a group of others) were listening to a worker I naturally wasn’t paying attention and ran straight into the elevator assuming my grandparents were right behind me but when I was turning around they hadn’t noticed I wasn’t with them until the man looked up and just yelled “NO†and the elevator door starts closing automatically and my dumbass is just standing there and the guy held open the door with like a rail type thing and it kept trying to close on it I just started freaking out because everyone else was freaking out and I just clicked buttons but eventually someone managed to tell me to just click the open door button?
