Do you think there's a link between hypochondria and acid reflux?

So many people with hypochondria have acid reflux and GERD me myself included.

I don't have acid reflux, so it depends on the individual I suppose.

I have hypochondria and yeah I used to have a lot of acid reflux but not anymore. I'm not really sure if it's correlated.

Isn't the most common reason for acid reflux stress? A hypochondriac would likely be very stressed or have a lot of anxiety in normal everyday situations (like during times like flu season). So there's a probable link.

Yeah it's winter and I am currently flipping out over having rabies cause a bat might have bitten me even though it might have just been a mosquito bite cause it swelled and became white like a regular mosquito bite but my mind tells me other wise.
Oh also potential lung cancer cause I have shortness of breath

I have hypochondria and acid reflux is definitely related. Pretty much everyone with hypochondria I know suffers GERD/acid reflux.

I have a link for a support group on facebook if you would like me to PM you, I'm a member and others going through the same thing reassuring me really helps. β™₯
