hansoobibi 813 Posted June 6, 2014 Share Posted June 6, 2014 (sorry if this is quite a lot to read) Hi..i just finished reading fifty shades trilogy and i just want to share my experiences in reading it. Knowing that it images a sensitive issue about sexuality and such..i'm not very much fund of reading rated stories and rather read sweet mushy ones for i'm a bitter-sweet person xDD..but my friend always tells me and forces me read fifty shades coz she says that it is a very amazing book and it will really sweep me off my feet.. so i finally had the courage to read it last week and once i started with it, i didn't have the will to stop and i finished the trilogy for three days..it really opened a new world for me..a world that i never knew exist..well yes i kind of have encountered things like this before but i didn't really internalize it and maybe bcoz i hate the idea before of seeing those chains and whips but after reading this..Holy shit, it really is a very serious thing and not just the kinky fuckery thing but i'm more blown by the dark image that shadows the male protagonist..i never knew BDSM before this and well i know i never will if not for this book..at fist i thought that this book is just about sex, a lot of it and i was ready for that but i never imagined something more..especially about the world of sadist and masochist coz i just cant fathom their thing about finding pleasure by inflicting pain to other people..sorry if im being dumb here but well,i'm just new to all this.. im aware of the many negative thoughts that people is saying about this series.. saying that it's not well made,it's pornography itself and is a bad influence to readers but i think that this book has offered much more than what people says..for me, it's a great book that emphasizes more than just about sex and kinky fuckery..i think it's about finding hu u really are, letting go of things and overcoming things that u thought u never will..it's takes a lot of will for christian to overcome those things that he thought he can't do and never will but he did it..and for me, the love and the romance that they have for each other is the thing that pulled me to stay and read this book..it was very well written and has the right amount of story in it.. not too short for the readers to be disappointed and not too long to make us feel bored. Grape Soda 12,004 Posted June 6, 2014 Share Posted June 6, 2014 really, why is that?please, if u could tell me..i really love it and i just want to understand y people think its horrible.. it was really repetitive. and i really didnt get where the characters fell in love. she was supposed to be this strong female character but ended up putting up with whatever he told her to do, shes also this average looking girl with a good amount of callers but just so happens to fall for and lose her virginity to the psycho billionaire. the book was over a short span as well this was literally over the period of like 2 weeks. ana and her inner goddess got on my last nerve. the ending was stupid, she knew what a spanking was everyone does...like she didnt know it hurt. and ughhh the cringe worthy disgusting sex scenes(i dont even have to tell you which one cuz you should know) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
