Did anyone else NOT like that voice effect in Tempo?

I really didn't enjoy it and I feel like it takes away from the vocals of Exo (it's the effect that comes in during xiumin's first part and then baekhyun's part in another verse).

I enjoy hearing all of them sing and that voice effect was very distracting and not needed. I wish that they would release a version without it (wishful thinking).

I think the real question is did someone actually like it because I remember reading people reactions to the song when it came out and everyone seemed to dislike that part.

So yeah I also wish they would release version where they would use their real voice on those parts.

Personal opinion but something that irks me about sm is that they seem to overdo things. Or try too hard to be avant- grade or something.

Their title songs (to me) are rarely easy to listen to (except for rare gems like Shinee’s replay) cos they add so many things. Which does a disservice to the amount of vocal talent they have. Although it seems like professionals like it because there’s apparently a lot of cool stuff going on but to very mainstream tastes like myself and the general public, it takes too much mental effort to appreciate such complicated songs.

Even when it comes to their styling, they have so many visual “talents†but all of it gets overwhelmed by unnecessary and sometimes unflattering add-one like curly bangs, frizzy hair, clashing prints, too much gel so that hair looks unnatural and stiff etc.
