Suga used to wonder why the world only gave BTS pain from debut

The struggle makes the success even sweeter.

I'm glad they maintained their humbleness.

Such hard-working boys were destined for stardom :rlytearpls:

I'm really over this narrative that they were done wrong

ARMY been saying it and now they are

it comes off as arrogant and pompous

and can they stop already with the billboard win in their VCRs too

that also comes off as arrogant, it was cool one time but they're pushing it now putting it in every performance

Who are you to tell them that they have not suffered and they were not done wrong?

You yg stans are the arrogant ones for crying over your faves being done wrong when they are in one of the most powerful companies in kpop. You will never understand how difficult it is for groups from small companies to get popular.

And I hope they keep putting that billboard win even 10 years after this, just to get you all bothered

---------------------

I am so proud of them, they did everything until now despite being told they will never succeed, despite having a really small chance of getting popular.

I hope they enjoy all this success that has become reality thanks to their hard work and perseveration ohbi.png

It wasn't a 'narrative'. It was the truth. How is rising above your pain pompous? You know what pompous truly is? When you disregard the pain of others because it doesn't fit in well with your narrative or your beliefs.

And if you weren't so blinded by your salty tears, you would've realized that the Billboard VCR was juxtaposed with their performance which emphasized their Korean identity. That no matter how global they are, they will always go back to their Korean roots and core.

P.S. Let me educate you since you have no idea. Suga has been clinically diagnosed with depression so the pain that he feels is more magnified than a normal person's. I wouldn't question why he would release statements like these. Before you come into a thread with your prejudice, may be wiser to research first before you run your mouth and look like a fool.

The artists themselves were directly affected by it. Who are you to tell them how they should feel about being the target of smear campaigns fuelled by bigger rival fandoms, Big 3 company employees and Big 3 groups' own relatives? You're over it because you belong to one of the very fandoms that perpetrated that witch hunt.

As for the VCR, it's not BTS who edited it themselves. Blame BigHit or award shows then for including it in every performance.

They were the victims whether you like it or not. They were the underdogs no matter how much you try to deny it. You can't erase their history because it happened. How arrogant of you to tell others that they should "get over" their pain when you're not the one who suffered from it.
