It's so cute how much younger groups look up to them. I can't wait to see interaction with the new little bbs from bighit. Stay focused, work hard, be true to yourself, be respectful to each other and others...these boys are incredible role models.

Yes, me too. They will have great seniors to learn from.

  • 4 weeks later...

they only say stuff like this when thousands are watching them on camera... when else do they give praise to senior artists. it's usually me me me with fans denying sunbaes paved the way for them.

You have little to no knowledge about BTS, so why are you talking out of your ass? Since the very beginning, the rap line has said that Tiger JK, Jay Z, Naz, Epik High, Tupac and others have inspired them to do music.

We deny those who say that their seniors were the ones who made BTS successful and that if it wasn't for them, BTS would've never gotten the success that they did. During an episode from Idol Weekly, the two hosts told Rain that he's the reason for BTS's US/worldwide popularity and he DENIED it. He said that he had NOTHING to do with their success and that they were the ones who worked hard and managed to get all of their popularity on their own. It's a fact that it's only K-pop stans that pull out the senior card and the actual seniors themselves deny that they had anything to do with BTS's success. Even in the western stan community, the fans don't say that nonsense. I have never seen anyone say, "Michael Jackson is the reason why Bruno Mars/JT/JB are famous. If it wasn't for him, they wouldn't have been popular."

Each generation of everything does build on the success of the generation before them.

But when I say that, all I mean is that I wouldn't be a Kpop fan if Super Junior's Sungmin wasn't a Kpop star when I first discovered him.

But BTS is definitely doing everything right! They have far, far surpassed the levels of their sunbaes and gone on to become a team who can only be compared to themselves.

I am so happy and proud to say that I have been a Kpop fan since 2010. I don't spend much time on the BTS threads, but I do love a ton of their songs and they've been babies since the first time I heard their song, Run.

So, yes. They are senior artists, and in my opinion, they have been since Save Me. I don't know the names of a lot of their songs, but I think that's the one that really made me take notice of them.

Musically and as people they have grown up very well. They are humble, kind and talented.

And Kookie is my bias; no, I will not give him back to you. :hurr: I'm pretty sure that his smile has magical powers.
