On November 29, Lee Elijah posted a screenshot of some comments she received on her Instagram in response to her role in SBS’s “The Last Empress,†where she currently appears as Min Yu Ra.

The first comment in the screenshot targeted the actress personally with excessive use of profanity and crude language.

 

Along with the photo, Lee Elijah wrote, “Besides the creative arts, I often think that words are important ways to express yourself. Acting is acting, and a role is just a role. Could you please refrain from coming here to get angry at a person who’s lacking but trying her best?â€
