Ford Is Still Receiving Death Threats, Kavanaugh Is Back To Coaching Basketball

The Supreme Court justice worried that Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault accusation would bar him from coaching youth basketball.

 

 

Despite a contentious Supreme Court confirmation and multiple accusations of sexual misconduct, Justice Brett Kavanaugh still gets to be “Coach K†on the basketball court.

 

 

Kavanaugh, who was confirmed to the highest court in the land last month, was spotted this past weekend coaching his youngest daughter’s 12-and-under basketball team at an annual Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) tournament in Hyattsville, Maryland, Deadspin reported. A father of another player in the basketball tournament snapped a photo of the judge, who has kept a relatively low profile since being confirmed.

One of the more cringeworthy points of Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings came when the judge openly worried that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault accusation would not only cost him his Supreme Court seat but also his passion for coaching youth basketball. Ford publicly accused Kavanuagh in September of sexually assaulting her when the two were at a high school party in the 1980s.

 

 

“I love coaching more than anything I’ve ever done in my whole life,†Kavanaugh said during the Senate hearings.

 

“But thanks to what some of you on this side of the committee have unleashed, I may never be able to coach again,†he added defensively, referring to the Democratic senators on the judiciary committee. 

 

To prove his passion, Kavanaugh even brought his CYO team to the confirmation hearing.

 

Meanwhile, Ford has endured attacks on her reputation and character, as well as a plethora of harassment and death threats. Ford and her family had to relocate multiple times due to ongoing threats to their safety. Earlier this month, Ford’s lawyers said the professor is still receiving threats.

personally i've heard of the devil triangle as a drinking game but never as a sex act. Terms change over time and can mean different things you know.

 

Ford lied many times lol. So guess what, she's a liar. I believe in innocent until proven guilty and nothing in her body language tells me she is telling the truth. And she has no "witnesses" backing her up. I am entitled to my opinion just as you are and that just proves that Kavanaugh's life has somewhat been ruined because everywhere he goes people are gonna think he's a rapist or sex offender or whatever.

I don't think you would take a report titled "Leftist panel finds leftist they put forth totally innocent" seriously either. This was why we asked for an FBI investigation in the first place, and you know that.

You do know that two can play this game of interests. He didn't lie, she did, multiple times. His testimonies are being backed up, hers are not, not even by her close friends or people that were heavily involved in her life.

Don't you think if Democrats could bring something credible, they would have? Who stopped them from making their own investigation? This report came out after the vote, they were conducting the investigation way after the confirmation, yet Democrats just let it go, all the accusations were forsaken.

This obsessiveness about sources is just a means to ignore reality. Investigation presented facts, they did not edit, misconstrued anyone's words or testimonies. They investigated and interviewed everyone she named, people who knew both of them. The report presents the info the way it was delivered/said to them, it's not a personal interpretation of a painting that varies from viewer to viewer.

FBI investigation is a sham, Republican investigation is worthless, you'd only believe Democrats, because they are impartial and have no interests whatsoever in this, sure. They don't bother investigate on their own, because they know it will bring the same result, and it coming from them would discredit them even more. So I guess you'll just have to live with the "unknown" that is well known to everyone else.
