Now when it comes to Taeyong you can easily see why SM would push him, great visual, good dancing, and he can talk fast, what's not to love? But for some reason the general public hasn't opened up to him yet for reasons no one knows. Do you think instead of continuing to push Mark and Taeyong they should switch to Jaehyun the only other member with it boy potential He's Korean, the most handsome, one of the best singers, and has a great personality Personally I think they should start giving him OST's like this Send to him more variety shows. tide 14,243 Posted November 27, 2018 Share Posted November 27, 2018 Even though SM tries to give Mark a "cute but badboy rapper" image he hasn't been able to sell it well as Sunwoo, Edawn, or Zico for instance. im not sure ab sunwoo bc i dont know him (is he popular?) but edawn? zico? i dont ever think either of them had that particular image, esp not zico. anyways the reason why the public isnt receptive to taeyong is bc taeyong isn't pushed to the public. u see him as center in nct choreos, but he's only ever been on one variety show (food diary) so the public has not gotten the chance to know who he is (and sm will probably keep it that way). mark is much better received bc he gets both push in nct and to the gp. same goes for lucas, jaehyun, and doyoung.
