Y'all say you feel old. These idols are younger than my actual son. It blows my mind.

hahaha i love it! at least there's SOME age diversity around here still...

As a person who is 8-9 years old in K-Pop, it's normal to see so many young people debuting. In 2010 GP Basic debuted with an average age of 14 years (my Janey Bae was 12 at the time). And there were also several girl groups with younger girls around 12-15 years old. That's why they decided to create laws for minors in the K-Pop industry.

Am I the only one who feels idols shouldn't debut unless they're 17-18?? (based on our age system)

It just feels extremely uhm... uncomfortable to me that young teens are already in such a demanding and crazy industry

 

I'm not saying age is all that matters, since the idols you've all mentioned are talented, but idk, it makes me feel very queasy.
