Only Anime I've watched and liked in 2018 has been the new season of Attack on Titans.

I'm just too picky. yQ7UqBS.gif

Only anime's I've ever liked

Haikyu!! - love it, so perfect

Naruto - Before it hits Shippuden and goes crazy

Code Geass

Sword Art Online - S1 only

That's it.

Really popular anime that I just didn't like

HunterxHunter

Kuroko's Basketball

Yuri on Ice

Fate Series

Fullmetal Alchemist

Bleach

One Piece

I tend to just like action or sports anime. I don't like romance or cooking animes

HunterxHunter <---- YOU TAKE THAT BACK, except for the finale the anime was pretty good, it was predictable at some points but it delivered so much

If you're picky then I'd recommend Monster to you. If you don't like it then I can't help you it's one of my faves rlytearpls.png

Also I wouldn't recommend Tokyo Ghoul, it was ridiculous. I'd replace it with Death Note

I watched Death Note and got pretty far before I gave up, I couldn't get past ep 3 of Tokyo Ghoul it was just boring rlytearpls.png

I made it until after the exams in Hunter x Hunter and then it got pretty boring

ren you have got to watch daiya no ace and all of its 125 episodes glory right. now.

a very underrated mainstream sports anime with relatively realistic physics lmao and actual character development / great chemistry between the cast (also i love the voice actors but that's another story) wohndaemote.png

Thanks for all the recs, I'm excited to check out Free, Chihayafuru and Banana Fish

I thought Kuroko was popular  It's recommended to me

Kuroko is so bad. It is not a sport anime. It is like a supernatural anime. They were showing a match in 4-5 episoÄe. In every episode we were only see 1 or 2 moves in a match.

While Haikyuu is a masterpiece. We can see a real match, real volleyball moves. And I love how they are always showing flashbacks of characters, showing beautiful friendship, relationship between characters. Funny scenes, dialogs between them.

Apparently Seventeen love Haikyuu too.

I love Haikyuu so much, it really is a master piece. Yeah Kuroko had zero excitement or build up, not much thought went into the moves but it's always recommended to me after I say I like Haikyuu. I'm so excited to start Free, thanks for recommending it

I am admit that first episodes was so boring. Because it was full of fanservice for fangirls but after that it was more like an anime which has slice of life and sport anime, drama plot.

ngl it's the only sports anime that actually got me interested in the sport in real life and i've watched quite a few too ahmagahplz.png

(well technically i also got deep into real figure skating thanks to yuri on ice lmaoo but it was more like my interest in the sport got rekindled after i was reminded of its existence, while in baseball's case i was a complete noob with absolutely no interest in learning its seemingly too complex rules but daiya no ace changed my mind fast and made me realise how wrong i was) ahmagahplz.png

I didn't like it MGvSnfB.png

yea there are things free did right that i could appreciate; it's not like i absolutely hated it or anything bc after all i still completed the first season with good feelings more or less.  i guess it all comes down to personal taste in the end too
