No, I think a gay couple raising a child is a beautiful thing. If it makes the parents and the child happy, I don't see a problem. The child would probably get a better life like that, than if they were in an orphanage.

How likely does a gay relationship last long? If the relationship don't last over few years, what will happen to the child afterward?

Also, the gay tends to be nagging and vengeful and that personality surely doesn't make nice parent. I know there are many chilling/easy-going gays and many straight persons possess this negative personality too but it's much more rampant among the gay.

The ideal choice must be thorough checking up on the adopter-to-be but, that's a complicated procedure and may be not practical (as the adopter-to-be will pretend before the officer) while the simple "gay parent ban" is much easier to practice.

No. Regardless of sexuality, being a parent is the right of everyone. It should be the couple's choice whether to have a child or not, not the society's. So if a gay couple want to have a child of their own or adopt a child, they definitely should be able to. After all, there are many children in this world growing up as orphans or stuck in a never ending foster care system.
