silly being the operative word here.

what if U.S.A. is the gangnam style of jpop? not in the global, youtube hit sort of way, but more viral runaway hit enjoyed by young and old, complete with a signature dance and will probably be played in karaoke lounges from here on out and well into the next century... and we'll never escape its kitschy comically addictive beat... unsure.png

agree? disagree?

indulge me

No, it's:

Several pieces came out at the time making parellels, with some even calling it a parody of the song and KPop as a whole.

ICONIC

Isn't

or
the GS of JPOP?

But for the Japanese market USA is like Perfect Human

But then it’s interesting to look at PH like Docu did, as a Gangnam style song in itself... so if USA is like PH it’s like 3rd generation GS? Honestly I did consider PPP too but thought maybe that’s the thing, jpop simply has more GS which would make sense seeing as the industry is more mature..

Basically every year has a novelty song, and they have nothing to do with "Gangnam Style."
