ToshI covers the classic "Chicken Rice" by Hamada & Makihara

This song is one of my favourite Christmas song.

To be honest, I still prefer the original. Although Hamada's voice is not as good as ToshI's, but with Makihara doing the harmony, the song has a raw yet delicate touch to it. 

 

Glad to see ToshI's voice still in good shape. Sometimes we forgot the reason why ToshI struggles during X-Japan's lives is because Yoshiki likes to write insane songs that only ToshI can sing. When ToshI sings other songs, we are then reminded that his voice is still godlike.

 

 

Yoshiki and ToshI furiously pumping out solo projects while the X-Japan reunion album is still going to be released "soon" since 2008.
