According to NHK staff ‘On October of this year we sent our staff to BTS’ Europe tour and tried to recruit BTS. The decision has been over turned due to the decision on ‘Forced Labor’ on 10/30’ The media pin pointed that even without Jimin’s T shirt issue, their appearance would have been difficult. They pointed out that Jimin’s T-shirt could have not been the main reason.

"Also their schedules for JPN for next year is already being discussed"... it seems like they're trying to get BTS on their show next year since they're too busy this year 0u0plz.png

On 18th JPN Nikkan Gendai criticized that there is no impact in any of the artist appearing this year for ‘Kouhaku Utagassen’... harharplz.png

If they wanted them to go to their show then who the hell said that their invitation was declined because of the shirt??? They knew that they weren't going on October 30th, which was a week before the entire scandal broke out. Like, wtf.

This reminds me of that hilarious thread about BTS being excluded. So far we had people saying that BH was not going to do anything about the issue because they only care about the fandom money, now we have BTS actually being invited for Kouhaku after all the drama people made about them being "excluded" when we didn't know if they even got an invitation, well now we know what happened and boo hoo the fools.

kek, just.... what's next?

Who is gonna tell that those users who were trying to convince themselves and kept spamming that BTS was not invited because of the shirt? What will they do now??

In all seriousness though, the truth has come out and glad BTS & Bighit has apologized. Hopefully next year lovestruck.png

The article clearly states the shirt wasn't the motive. Kpoppies whose faves were never even considered should've just sat there and ate their food.

I was busy with rl damn I missed all the foolery

But speaking of what this reminds me of is when the kpop community made threads upon threads about the Olympics not inviting BTS only for them to come back and tell the world they wanted BTS a whole year before but was hurt that BTS was fully booked till 2019

that's silly for people to assume they got cancelled to other award lol shows just because of one cancellation..
it states Kouhaku Utagassen viewers are mostly seniors while BTS is popular amongst the kids so it doesn't really make sense for them to book that show :o
Shame for music station though.. they were probably looking forward to that opportunity the most in japan since it's the only thing they booked(?) with such a busy schedule... D:

Unlike the Korean Award shows they missed the memo where you have to book BTS at least half a year in advance

I can't believe they tried booking them in the middle of October 0u0plz.png  Their schedule is tight and there was no way that they had space left and only with 2 months in advance. The article even states that Kouhaku is trying to discuss with them about their Japanese activities for next year hurrplz.png
