You do think men will ever get the same support their sexually assault as women?

Every time men tries to speak up about their sexual assaults or rapes they are made fun of and always told that women get raped and sexual assaulted more by women and their own fellow men, which lead to most men to stay silent about what happened to them.

So when will men also get the same suppose from everyone like women do? It seem like people think sexual assault and rape isn't as equally as bad on men as women, but it's not true. Every rape and sexual assault victims should be spoke up for not just one side more than the other. Rape and sexual assault is a terrible thing and ruins both sexes lives equally, so why not speak for both sexes equally instead of one?

It's getting better at least. Laws and statistics in western countries have started to recognize in the past few years that man can be raped, by men and women as well. Something that didn't always happen, so there's that.

Men get the shafted secretly in a number of serious issues but in the age of everyone becoming a social justice warrior, no one wants to address it because "men lead the world anyway".

Basically.

Men HAVE to speak up about it. Men HAVE to change things and destroy the stereotypes that men are strong and women are too weak. We can't help if they don't help themselves first.

What is the difference in a men starting twitter hashtag for to support women and women starting a twitter hasgtag to help men? Why can women give those men help like they want men to give them help, isn't that what equality is about?

Men do not speak about their abuse, so statistically speaking we don't know what percentage of men get raped. However, for men to speak up more, we have to educate society into dispelling the notion that being raped makes someone weak. Most men are raised to be machos and often they don't want to share anything that they might have gone through such as rape or sexual harrassment.

Rape is a terrible crime, which can bring severe damage to someone both physically and mentally, no matter the gender. Sadly, in the society we live in today and the preconcieved notion we have of male and female, rape won't be considered the same among both genders.

I recently read an article where a teenage boy was raped by an older women and the majority of comments consisted of 'he got hard so it isn't rape' or 'omg, he's so lucky'. Ignorance at it's finest.

Your topic implies that women are treated better when they're raped. WHERE do you see that happening? How many times have you heard of rape cases where women are told it's their fault by even the police assigned to the case?

If you started your topic and spoke about equality it would show that you care about women and men but your anti-women agenda is clearly showing in the OP you made.

Every time a man speaks of equality it's anti woman.

No one should be blamed for being raped and if anyone blames anyone for being raped they are no different than the person who raped him or her.

if this was about women, you would (rightfully)

get negged for victim-blaming. men are speaking

up. do you honestly think people are listening?

okay then, i was wrong to assume, my apologies.

It's not that you speak of equality, it's that you speak of equality for men and women but throw women under the bus.

Let's be real a lot of men don't talk about it. It's easy to pretend nothing is happening when men are too scared to talk about it.

I don't understand how I am blaming the victim? All I'm saying is for things to change men need to take action. Go protest about it, join slut walks, write on social platforms, start a trend on twitter, etc. Staying silent does not help.
