imo, sexy, summer, and mature concept have been strongly correlated to Sistar, not just for their fandom, but also general public. so yeah, eventho they are a generation older i think they will still be able to compete with new idols.

it doesn't matter when, SISTAR will always top the charts because they have this general appeal, it's such a shame they disbanded so early, they could've gone past their 10 year mark like SNSD and still maintained this popularity, but at least they seemed to have disbanded on good terms (seeing that they still keep in touch with each other unlike many other disbanded girl groups)
