iori 4,151
I'm on mobile, this is what I got from allkpop forum This is so that all of you have enough information about this scene One member quote: 1. BI/Bobby started it, but the members have for a while been accessorising with safety pins (visibly earrings, shirt and so). Their stylists confirmed that they did it themselves, as part of the Safety Pin Project where a member of a communal minority can, if they're feeling threatened, approach someone with a visible safety pin and seek their help knowing that this person has vowed to help them. They've been doing it for a long time now. 2. This to me is less of a receipt but when asked the typical 'ideal type' question, Bobby and BI have, multiple times, gone out of their way to include guys and phrased it as 'My ideal type is a guy or girl who ____________'
starsocks 7,986
What they did was dumb, and it was wrong. I'm not necessarily saying that they're bad people, but what they did was wrong and it's silly to defend it.

Mind_control 4,029
There is probably no need for a new thread. There are many instance I believe Hanbin is not homophobic like wearing the LGBT cap recently at the airport and such. I even sus about his relationship with One from his constant posts on One's IG. (Just my opinion) Still doesn't make what he did right. I love him still tho.

JNT-LEGGO 6,380
Yeah. It's just like how you can have friends from a certain demographic but still say subconsciously say some bigoted shit. Humans are contradictory like that. Granted, what they did was a little more heinous than like the casual "that's so gay" insult for example. But yeah, they're not complete trash. I just read them and I think people need to know that told you I'm on mobile, you can go to the allkpop forum, the members giving some source there, sigh Thank you for that. I will contribute. They are really good kids and have done and said thoughtful things as well. Like every other human being I guess. I am ok with them getting dragged for this joke or other things they have done wrong but I am posting this because most iKON threads about 1 thing tend to follow the same 2015/16 route of frothing at the mouth with mostly false info. Um lol, watch the video again, they were roleplaying as student-teacher on the caption, it was actually acting and he kinda making fun of tough guy who usually say such things in busan dialect. If anything, it's jimin and hobi who are the confident gay in the group, they always kiss the members lol. Link to comment
